In-House

Slate Belt Soccer teams play against each other. All in-house games will be played at the Blue Valley Farm Show Complex

• The In-House program runs in the fall (late August till end of October) and is available for all children ages 4 and up. 
• In-House soccer is about developing each player to learn more and participate as a functional member of the soccer team; focus is on player development for all, not just winning games.

In-House Age Groups

U5 Academy

The U5 Soccer Program is for players at age 4. All free kicks are indirect; teams of 3-5 players with no goalie.​ Playing Format: 32 minute games; four 8 minute quarters. (Soccer Ball Size 3)

U7 Program

The U7 Soccer Program is for players at ages 5 and 6. All free kicks are indirect; teams of 4-6 players with a goalie.​ Game Format: 36 minute games; four 9 minute quarters. (Soccer Ball Size 3)

U9 Program

The U9 Soccer Program is for players at ages 7 and 8. Teams play 7 v 7 (or by coaches' agreement).​ Game Format: 40 minute games; four 10 minute quarters. (Soccer Ball Size 4)

U11 Program

The U11 Soccer Program is for players at ages 9, and 10. Teams play 9 v 9 (or by coaches' agreement).​ Game Format: 44 minute games; two 22 minute halves. (Soccer Ball Size 4)

U13 Program

This program is designed for players of ages 11, and 12. Teams play 11 v 11 (or by coaches' agreement).​ Game Format: 50 minute games; two 25 minute halves. (Soccer Ball Size 5)

U17 Program

This program is designed for players of ages 13 to 16. Teams play 11 v. 11 (or by coaches' agreement).​Game Format: 50 minute games; two 25 minute halves. (Soccer Ball Size 5)

 

Recreational

Slate Belt teams at the Recreational level play in the Blue Mountain Youth Soccer League (BMYSL). 

• This league covers age groups U9 to U17. 
• Teams travel to compete with other clubs in the Lehigh Valley within a 1-hour driving distance. 
• More competitive than In-House; for players and teams to develop skills beyond the basics and strive for a winning season. 

 

Carded

Slate Belt teams as the Carded level play in the Lehigh Valley Youth Soccer League (LVYSL) 

• This league covers age groups U9 to U19. 
• Teams travel to compete with other carded clubs within a 2-hour driving distance. 
• This league is the most competitive league that SBYSA currently participates in.  It is for players to develop high-level skills as an individual and as a team.
